I read more books compared to watching movies, so this will be for reviewing books I recently read! Newest entry will be at the top! I have to limit each review to three sentences so it is easier to load. I will try to make each review spoiler free.
Win Lose Kill Die
Author: Cynthia Murphy
Rating: 5/10
I loved the plot of the book, but I managed to correctly guess who the killer was after the first murder. Aside from that, the idea of a cult in school and having all the murders be the head girls was pretty cool. I'm usually not one to talk about the love interests much, but he was lowkey kinda bland and the story kinda dwindled down towards the end.
As Good As Dead
Author: Holly Jackson
Rating: 9/10
This is the best one in the trilogy. This series escalated so quickly, and I loved every part of it (I'm not spoiling, but all I can say is that it was crazy). Pip going from a happy person who rambles fun facts to whatever she became in the last book was horrifying but amazing at the same time.
Good Girl, Bad Blood
Author: Holly Jackson
Rating: 6/10
Even though this book was amazing, this one is my least favourite of the trilogy. The ending was very sad and it was horrifying to see Pip permenantly change as a character. The idea of a podcast was kinda cool, but it felt underwhelming compared to solving a murder in the previous book.
A Good Girl's Guide To Murder
Author: Holly Jackson
Rating: 7/10
I loved this book because it was equally fun to read as well as kinda thrilling. Pip was an amazing protagonist, and she was very relatable too! I loved how she was able to solve a murder case on her own, not many 17 year olds can do that, especially for a school project in Year 12.
